Cable Assemblies and Wire Harnesses for Harsh Environments

An assembly starts with the conditions your equipment faces. Our engineers work with your engineering team to develop the connectors, materials, routing and protection around the complete system. Spartan provides sales and support across North and South America, with no minimum order quantity.

Match materials and testing to the environment

Temperature, fluid exposure and mechanical loads guide the choice of wire insulation, cable jacket, connectors and protection. Radbon engineering and manufacturing capabilities include customized braiding, heat protection, shielding, overmolding and potting; suitability is reviewed for the selected construction.

State the exposure conditions and acceptance criteria in the design brief. Radbon has electrical and environmental testing capabilities; the tests, sample scope and delivered records are agreed for your order.

Start with the complete system

A connector that fits the electrical requirement may still be difficult to install, seal or service in your equipment. Share the installation space, routing, mechanical interfaces and operating conditions alongside your electrical loads.

Our engineering team can develop the product with your team or manufacture against your approved drawing package. Agree on design decisions and acceptance requirements before production.

  • Operating and storage temperatures
  • Electrical loads, signals and connector interfaces
  • Cable movement, bend radius, vibration and strain relief
  • Water, dust, abrasion, oils and chemical exposure
  • Shielding, grounding, identification and maintenance access

Prototype, test and move into production

There is no minimum order quantity. Start with the quantity your development program needs, then plan production against an approved design.

Inspection, environmental testing and delivered documentation are agreed for each project. Include the test conditions and acceptance criteria with your RFQ so the proposed construction and verification scope can be reviewed together.

Subcontract support for cable and harness manufacturers

If you already manufacture cable assemblies, send the drawing package and the work you need supported. Radbon can review specialized constructions or additional production requirements alongside your team.

Specify quantities, drawing revisions, workmanship requirements, testing and the records needed with delivery. Spartan helps coordinate the review and responds to inquiries within one business day.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. We support prototype quantities, small batches and recurring production. The quotation covers the engineering, materials, tooling and testing required for your project.

Can you develop an assembly without a complete drawing?

Yes. Our engineers can develop products with your engineering team, using your system requirements to develop the cable assembly. A drawing, sketch or initial requirement can start the discussion.

Can you confirm environmental ratings before quoting?

Share the required ratings and test conditions. The construction, qualification scope and acceptance criteria need to be reviewed for your specific application and confirmed with the quotation.

Do you support existing harness manufacturers?

Yes. We work with equipment OEMs and cable assembly or wire harness manufacturers seeking subcontract manufacturing support.

Where do you provide support?

Spartan provides sales and support across North and South America from North America. Radbon performs engineering and manufacturing in Taiwan.
