Who holds the certificates, and what they cover
Radbon holds AS9100D, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. Spartan provides sales and support and does not hold these certifications. Request current certificates and the applicable scope for your project.
IPC/WHMA-A-620 QML Class 3
Radbon holds IPC/WHMA-A-620 Qualified Manufacturers List (QML) Class 3 certification. Class 3 is the high performance class of IPC/WHMA-A-620, the acceptance standard for cable and wire harness assemblies, for high-performance applications requiring continued operation.
QML certification audits the manufacturer, including workforce competency, special process controls, the quality management system, process discipline and end-to-end traceability.
Workmanship and inspection standards
Inspection standards include IPC-A-620 Class 3, IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3, IPC-A-610 Class 3 and NASA-STD-8739.4. Radbon technicians hold IPC and NASA certifications. Confirm the workmanship criteria applicable to your assembly.
Laboratory and reliability testing
Electrical, mechanical and environmental testing are available. Confirm the conditions, test location and records required for your order.

Is Spartan Cable Solutions itself AS9100D certified?
No. Radbon holds AS9100D, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. Spartan provides sales and support from Vancouver. Ask for current certificates and applicable scope.
What does QML Class 3 mean for my harness?
It means the facility building your harness has been audited by IPC against the Class 3 requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620, covering people, process control, quality system, and traceability, not only the finished product.
What documentation ships with each order?
It is agreed at quote stage. Typical requests are a certificate of conformance, inspection records, electrical test results, and material certifications. Tell us what your receiving inspection needs.
Can you run qualification testing to my test plan?
Send your test plan for review. The methods, conditions, test location and deliverables need confirmation for the specific project.
